Our latest addition to the T-Man product line, the new Tube Tail Trolling Spoons have been created to target large Striped Bass as well as other game fish. These 5-1/2" flutter type spoons have a big total profile of over 10" with their classic T-Man Tube tail. Designed to be used with our Quick Change Weighted Keel system, the new spoons will crush the big stripers and blues when trolled slowly at the proper depths. Their light weight (1.6oz total) will allow them to be fished on lighter rod & reel combos using braided line. Be sure to add enough weight to the keel your using to get the spoons down!
The combination of the flutter spoon and tube tail gives this lure exciting action and some decent rattle too. They are a dead ringer for a wounded herring when trolled.
We recommend that the tube tail be tipped with your favorite bait like sandworms, bloodworms, squid strips, or artificial trailer.
Rigged with a 3ft fluorocarbon leader off the back of our Quick Change Weighted Keels it's easy to add or remove weight to get the spoons in the target zone. Much like trolling the Classic T-Man Striper Tubes, trolling the new Tube Tailed Spoons is a productive and relaxing way to fish!!
